Santhosha Vidhyalaya’s story begins in 1901 with the founding of the Dohnavur Fellowship, led by Amy Carmichael. This fellowship provided a haven for girls rescued from physical and moral danger. In 1918, it extended its mission to include boys, welcoming Aruldasan, the first orphaned boy, into its fold.
