Mr J. Prince Josiah Benjamin
President

Prince , an alumnus from the Class of 1998, has been serving in his current role since 2022. With a deep passion for community development, Prince has worked as an NGO process innovator, meticulously analyzing and optimizing processes across HR, Finance Management, Risk, and Compliance. His strategic approach has strengthened accountability and improved coordination across projects and programs.

Currently, Prince is a freelancer and volunteer, offering his extensive expertise to multiple organizations, assisting them in achieving their mission for the benefit of communities. In addition to his professional contributions, Prince is the Founder and Managing Trustee of Cephas Foundation and an Executive Committee Member of the Christian Institute of Management.

Prince holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Karunya University and two master’s degrees: M.Tech. in Sensor System Engineering from VIT University and MHRM (Master of Human Resource Management) from Pondicherry University

His commitment to transformational leadership and community empowerment continues to make a significant impact.

Mr. Jeremiah Rajanesan

Mr. Jeremiah Rajanesan, born in the Dohnavur Fellowship, is also the son of David Rajamanian, the former Secretary of Dohnavur Fellowship and Secretary & Vice-President of Santhosha Educational Society. He is the great-grandson of ‘Mimosa,’ the younger sister of Arulai Tara.

After completing his education, he pursued a career as an engineer in the energy sector across India. However, in response to God’s call, he joined Dohnavur Fellowship and has since contributed in diverse areas, including engineering, administration, animal husbandry, agriculture, environmental conservation, sustainable rural livelihoods, and climate change initiatives.

A strong advocate of Franciscan spirituality, he emphasizes caring for all of God’s creation and leading a simple lifestyle, a principle deeply valued by Amy Carmichael and Godfrey Webb-Peploe. Since 1996, he has been actively involved with Santosha Vidhyalaya (SV), overseeing campus safety, infrastructure development, and essential resources like electricity and water. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Dohnavur Fellowship

Dr. Anand A Samuel

Dr. Anand Samuel is a distinguished academic and leader with extensive experience in higher education and management. He has held prominent positions, including serving as the Chairman of the Board at the Christian Institute of Management since June 2021 and as the Vice Chancellor of VIT University from September 2015 to September 2020. His leadership at VIT University was marked by significant reforms in curriculum development, research initiatives, and student welfare programs, which elevated the institution’s academic standards and global reputation. Dr. Samuel’s academic journey includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai, an MS in Solar Energy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy. He is known for his compassionate leadership, commitment to student welfare, and significant contributions to research in mechanical engineering, particularly in heat and mass transfer and solar energy systems. Dr. Samuel’s personal interests include advocating for educational reforms, mentoring young professionals, and engaging in community service through Christian organizations.

Dr. Jacob Swaroop Anand is a practicing medical professional and general surgeon, serving as the Chief Doctor at Mercy Nursing Home in Eruvadi. An SV alumnus from the batch of 1998, Dr. Anand has dedicated his career to delivering high-quality care, providing specialized services to patients of all ages. He has established a strong reputation for excellence in the field of pediatric surgery, known for his expertise and compassionate approach. At Mercy Nursing Home, Dr. Anand emphasizes personalized care, ensuring that every patient receives tailored treatment according to their specific needs. His commitment to delivering top-tier treatments and surgeries has made him a trusted healthcare provider. Dr. Anand’s focus on comprehensive care, patient satisfaction, and cutting-edge treatments solidifies his position as one of the leading pediatric surgeons, renowned for exceptional service and excellence in healthcare.

Former Principals

The first two academic years witnessed the leadership of two Headmistresses, Mrs. Janet Roberts (1982-1983) and Mrs. Florence Franklin (1983-1984). In 1984, Mr. S. Ponraj assumed the role of Principal and remained in the position for an impressive 34 years, retiring in 2018. Then from Mr. S Ponraj, Mrs. P Mary Florence took charge as the Principal till her retirement in 2023.
